AV-CLAZURIL 2.5% ORAL

INDICATION:
- Clazuril 2.5% Oral is effective in the prevention and treatment of coccidial infections in lambs caused by Eimeria crandallis or Eimeria ovinoidalis and in calves caused by Eimeria bovis or Eimeria zuernii. In cases where there is uncertainty whether symptoms are caused by coccidiosis, faeces examination is recommended.
- Clazuril 2.5% Oral  is effective in the prevention and treatment of coccidial infections in poultry caused by Eimeria tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. mitis (mivati), and E. maxima. Because diclazuril is effective against E. maxima later in its life cycle, subclinical intestinal lesions may be present for a short time after infection. Diclazuril was shown in studies to reduce lesion scores and improve performance and health of birds challenged with E. maxima.

CONTRA-INDICATION: 
- Do not use in layers producing eggs for human consumption.

DOSAGE:
- For oral administration via feed or drinking water. Shake well before use.
- It is advised to treat all animals of the herd at the same time.
- Calves, lambs:
- Treatment : 1 ml per 25 kg bodyweight in one single treatment.
- Prevention : 1 ml per 25 kg bodyweight at about 4 – 6 weeks of age.
- Rabbits:
- 0.002 ml of Coczuril 2.5% Oral per kg bodyweight. This is equivalent to 0.05 mg diclazuril per kg bodyweight.
- In feed: give 4 ml Coczuril 2.5% Oral per 100 kg complete feed.
- Poultry (broilers):
- Week 1 : 30 ml per 1,000 L of drinking water during 3 days.
- Week 2 : 37 ml per 1,000 L of drinking water during 3 days.
- Week 3 : 44 ml per 1,000 L of drinking water during 3 days.
- Week 4 : 51 ml per 1,000 L of drinking water during 3 days.
- Week 5 : 58 ml per 1,000 L of drinking water during 3 days.
- Week 6 : 67 ml per 1,000 L of drinking water during 3 days.
- This is equivalent to 0.3 mg of diclazuril per kg bodyweight per day. To prevent resistance do not use for a long period, try to rotate with other anti-coccidials treatments. Mixed with feed, the product should be used immediately. Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.
